About UCLA Dental Clinics

Located at 90095, 10833 Le Conte Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90024, UCLA Dental Clinics operates as a dental clinic serving Los Angeles in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Los Angeles, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across California, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Check the listing for hours, whether the office takes your insurance or Medicaid, languages spoken, wheelchair access and parking, then confirm by phone: insurance networks and providers change more often than the listings do.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. Typical hours are 8 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach UCLA Dental Clinics at (310) 206-3904; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is dentistry.ucla.edu, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Its Google rating stands at 2.8 out of 5 from 37 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.

Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Los Angeles is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The worest place to get anything done. Very unprofessional staff, gives you the wrong information and blame it on you. Appointment issues only to people they know and want to help. They should be investigated

Extremely disappointed in the professional conduct of Dr. Hewlett. There appear to be significant concerns regarding a conflict of interest, specifically the use of university letterhead and institutional prestige to support private corporate interests. This raises serious questions about the ethical standards and integrity expected of a DEI academic leader.

I must commend Dr. Brittany Wall for rendering the most courteous and thorough analysis of ALL my dental needs, while offering cost-effective solutions incorporating only the most cutting-edge procedures and technology available today. It's quite refreshing to have finally received a proper appraisal from someone who I consider to be among the best in their field. Dr. Wall's upcoming private practice will surely transcend the dental industry in ways to behold and recognized the world over. You can bank on that. (IMHO) To Dr. Wall, my sincere thanks.

My experience at this dental facility has been a pleasant one. I was seen at the UCLA Endodontics department by Dr. Thomas Lin. Not only has he been one of the kindest, most down to earth individuals in the medical field I’ve had treating me, he has been one of the more professional and thorough ones. So far, I’ve had two root canals done, and they have been performed successfully with out pain. One of the things I appreciate so much is that he was so conservative with one of the root canals, that all I needed was a final filling and no crown required. Saved me on the expense of this purchase. He’d also make sure I was comfortable and knew what was going on in the process. I still may need to be treated for two other root canals, and I’m hoping I can continue to see him for that. I’ll be sad to see him go, when he pursues his own practice or starts employment elsewhere. I’m sure any of his future patients will be in good hands and have a great dental experience with him. I was blessed to get a great dentist here. One thing to note, is that you need to have patience. This is a very busy facility and I’m sure the staff is overworked. Make sure to ask about insurance coverage and a

I scheduled an appointment for a root canal but had to reschedule twice because I couldn't find a ride since I live in Bakersfield. So, I had my husband take a day off from work so he can take me to my appointment. And when I scheduled I specifically asked for a female student doctor for religious reasons. The lady that scheduled seemed confused. She first told me to come in on Tuesday because that's when they have a female doctor. But then right before we hung up, she said to come in Monday. Not even a minute later, she calls back and says she meant Tuesday. I asked are you sure and it's a female right? She said yes. So, my appointment day comes along and I was already having a bad feeling because usually they call a day before to remind me but didn't this time. I couldn't call to make sure before we left because they weren't open yet. So, we head out before 6:30 in the morning. We arrived a little after 9 and when we get there, they say I have NO APPOINTMENT SCHEDULED! I tried explaining but he said it doesn't show in their system. So, I asked if they can squeeze me in since I came from Bakersfield and they said they can but only with a male. I didn't want to do that, so we just
